The Studio

So this is my Studio, Temperamental Recordings in Geneseo NY.  I guess you could say it’s a home/studio of sorts, since I live here.  It was built in 1828 as a Methodist Church and continued as such until I bought it.

I love old worn out things. Most of what I use to make records here falls into that category.

L-R:   1930’s National, 1890’s Gretsch Tuba, and my favorite guitar.  A 1926 Gibson L-1

The control room is up in the choir loft.  Again, lots of old stuff. Some new…

Lots of old outboard, consoles and tape machines. I’ll put a gear list up at the bottom of this page sometime in the near future. contact me here if you have any questions. It’s gear geek shit anyways…

The studio has accommodations for up to 6 people without anyone sleeping on the floor. There’s also a bar room on the studio level and a full kitchen, 1 1/2 baths and a lounge on the bottom level. I rebuilt a 1912 9ft Brunswick pool table down there that people seem to enjoy.  High speed wireless too if ya need it.
