So it’s cold here. Really cold. A good a time as any to work on some new recordings and finnish up some old ones.  It’s been a busy few months.  In November and December I had the pleasure of having We Are Augustines stay here at the studio to do some writing and recording.  They managed to bang out 20 or so songs from scratch and it was a pleasure to watch how hard they worked at it every day. Check them out if you haven’t already. I’ve attached a few pics Brendon Stuart took while they were here.  That’s it for now.  I have the studio to myself for the next few weeks and Intend to make good use of it.

Come September I’ll be back at Temperamental finishing up my next record.  It’s been a long time coming and I’m excited to get It done.  Also a record I made with my good buddy Zac Decamp will be available for purchase in the next month or so.  It a side project of ours we named after our hometown Geneseo.  I’ll let you know when it’s ready. Almost done with Tom V’s new one and in the early stages of a record for my new buddy David Jacobs-Strain. Since getting here I’ve had a chance to do some recording/playing with a bunch of fine folks including Larry and His Flask, Willy Tea Taylor, Scott Mcdougall, The Calamity Cubes, Henry Hill Kammerer, Tom Vandenavond, Kids Like Color, Rural Demons, The Harmed Brothers, Feeding Frenzy and a few other new friends.

Sorry I’ve been out of touch on this page for a bit. I’ve been on the road a bunch and when I’m not it seems I’m in the studio working on something. Good to be busy I guess. The new year will see records I’ve Produced, Engineered and played on by the likes of Tom Vandenavond, Hule, The Harmed Brothers, Lonely Pony, and Scott McDougall. If you haven’t heard of any of These folks please go check them out. I’m super proud of the sounds this weird old building has been churning out over the last 2 years. The new year will also see the release of a record I’ve been sitting on for a few years named after my hometown, Geneseo. It’s a side project I’ve been working on with my childhood friend Zac Decamp for some time and I’m pretty excited about it. More on that soon. In between all this I’ve been slowly chipping away at my next record which will be called The Drunkards Progress. It won’t be the big crazy guest record American Hotel is, and I think that’s a good thing (that said there are still a bunch of guests on it). It’s been a crazy few years since I left Los Angeles and I have a few things to say about it. I’ll let ya know when it gets a bit closer to being done. Also, keep an eye on the shows page. I plan on playing a bunch of shows this winter and avoiding the frozen tundra of Western NY as much as possible. See you soon,
